The return of former Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence, Gen. David Ssejusa continues to raise eyebrows.

Ssejjusa returned in the wee hours of Sunday morning from the United Kingdom, where he had run to after he made accusations of a plot to assassinate a number of high ranking government officials opposed to an alleged succession plan by the president in May last year.

Speaking to KFM, Lwemiyaga County MP, Theodore Ssekikubo questions the manner in which Ssejusa returned and that it is not only suspicious but also raises questions on whether his strong criticism of the government.

Ssekikubo says though the public will judge him harshly over his move, there are Ugandans with the conviction of pushing for change in the country’s democratic process.
