This followed a meeting held at the Sultan’s palace in Sharjah in which the Emir expressed interest in constructing a training institute in Uganda to support governments’ education infrastructure.

President Museveni said while government has been struggling with building the economic infrastructure, it has overcome most of the bottlenecks to development.

The two leaders in the meeting discussed cooperation in areas of education, health and vocational training.

The president earlier after a tour of the great Museum of the Union in Dubai hailed the leaders of the United Arab Emirates for transforming their weaknesses into strength and uniting their people.
