President Museveni has made changes in his cabinet bringing on board new figures.

Among the newly appointed minister is Member of Parliament Frank Tumwebaze. He is now the minister in charge of presidency.

Kasule Justine Lumumba government chief whip, Minister Maria Mutagamba has been transferred from the environment ministry to tourism wildlife and antiquities.

Ajedra Gabriel is coming on board as state minister for investment while Aston Kajara maintains his portfolio as privatization under the same ministry.

Minister Ephraim Kamuntu who has been tourism minister is now water and environment minister.

Hon Eng John Nasaasira is also bouncing back as a minister for general duties and so is Sam Kuteesa as foreign affairs minister.

In health, Sarah Opendi has been appointed as state minister for primary health care.

Minister Richard Nduhura who has been in the health ministry becomes the ambassador to the UN in the New York.

In the East African affairs ministry, Shem Bagaine is coming in as a state minister.

The full minister remains Eriya Kategeya who is also the 1st deputy prime minister.

Richard Todwong is coming on board as minister without portfolio in charge of mobilization.

The changes have also seen new ministries coming on board.

These include a ministry in the office of the vice president led by Vincent Nyanzi.

Najjemba Rosemary Muyinda is the new minister for urban development while Aidah Nantaba is the state minister for lands.
