The committee last week ordered a Chinese company, Chongqing International to pay back the money which they received after blindfolding the Uganda National Roads Authority.

The company had received the money as compensation on forged delayed claims of an environment assessment report by the National environment Management Authority.

In a press conference at parliament this morning, the committee chair Abdul Katuntu says the money has been paid as instructed,

The same committee, two months ago recovered over Sh26 billion from five Chinese companies in fake deals.
