Scores of passengers are stranded in Mbale following a sit down strike by taxi operators which is now in its second day.

More than 300 taxi drivers under their umbrella body Mbale Taxi driver’s conductors and owners association yesterday went on a sit down strike, protesting the manner in  which the tender to manage Mbale main taxi park was awarded.
