EC excludes results from over 1,200 polling stations

This is after he failed to show up for the second time at the police Special Investigations Unit in Kireka today as had been expected.

Speaking to Kfm the police deputy spokesperson Polly Namaye says the minister instead sent his lawyers.

Namaye adds that Byandala is expected to appear on Monday morning in person.

The police wants him to explain himself on matters relating to a letter he allegedly wrote on the 14 Dec 2013 instructing the acting Uganda National Roads Authority executive director to sign the now controversial contract.
