The spokesperson of unit Vincent Ssekate identified the suspect as Shepherd Mwesigwa attached to the Rwenzori West area as a logistics officer.

He says the suspect signed for 71 bags of posho and another 35 for beans at Namanve police logistics stores.

The posho was meant for various field force police detaches in the Rwenzori region but he instead sold it off in Fort Portal.

Ssekatte says the matter is under investigation.
