Police have warned the general public and opposition leaders from engaging in any demonstration protesting the age limit bill that is expected to be debated on the floor of parliament today.
According to the Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima police will be heavily deployed to ensure the safety and security of all the people in the city center prevails as they go about their normal business.
Kayima says Ugandans should let members of parliament do their work and thus are not expected to engage in their work adding that if they do not agree with what they are doing, there other options they can use like impeachment and not demonstration.
He meanwhile says roads around the city center or near parliament will not be diverted or blocked.
