Addressing journalists this morning, Baryamureeba said Uganda Technology and Management University will officially open on October 31st.

He says the university located at Tweed Towers is to partner with other universities abroad to mainly offer foreign educational programs with degrees offered by those universities.

Baryamureeba says he has already signed a Memorandum of understanding with Amity University Online.

The courses to be offered include computer science and the Doctorate of Philosophy program and a lot of research programs.
