Legislators on the parliamentary committee on education have expressed concern over increased number of secondary school drop outs who are teaching in primary schools.
While interfacing with officials from the ministry of education yesterday, the committee chairperson Connie Galiwango said that their recent schools inspection revealed that school drop outs have taken on teaching in private primary schools which is killing education standards.
In response the commissioner in charge of private schools and institutions Ismael Mulindwa admitted that there is still a gap in the inspection of schools but condemned this act.
