Solar companies ask for a tax waiver

Solar companies in Uganda are calling for tax waiver on the importation of solar equipment to enable them cut the prices to match the current economic situation.

According to Fenix International Solar Company’s Calvin Kawumi, if solar kits are made affordable many people who are off grid will be served.
