A 30-year old man suspected to have stolen a goats in Buseyi trading center in Nakalama sub-county  in Iganga has been beaten into coma by unidentified residents

The suspect yet to be identified was found lying helpless with deep wounds on his head in Buseyi trading center.

The Busoga east police spokesperson James Mubi said two goats tied together were found dumped alongside the suspect raising suspicions that he had stolen goats.

Mubi said the suspect has been taken to Nakavule hospital but in critical condition.

He said police are investigating the matter to establish the truth surrounding the incident.
