Uganda beats Kenya in Badminton in Glasgow

Uganda has beaten Kenya 3-2 in mixed team Badminton on day one at the Common Wealth games in Scotland.

Daisy Nakalyango, Margarete Nankabirwa, Wilson Tukire and Edwin Ekiring helped team Uganda win today’s opener in 2 hours and 18 minutes.

In other results of the day, Uganda’s Michael Kawooya has beaten Papua New Guinea’s Schubert Maketu in the Men’s squash singles round of 128.

Kawooya won the game 3-0 at Scotstoun Campus Squash.
