The clock is ticking for the Uganda Cranes as they await a decider on their fate regarding qualification for the Nation’s cup tournament.

According to the Federation of Uganda’s Football Associations (FUFA) Uganda Cranes head coach, “Micho” Milutin Sedrojevic has recalled left back defender, Godfrey Walusimbi and Geofrey Baba Kizito to the starting line-up against Guinea in Casablanca city, Morocco.

Walusimbi, who plays professional football in Gor Mahia F.C in Kenya did not play any part in the last Cranes’ game against Ghana in Kampala because of accumulated yellow cards.

Meanwhile, Geofrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, who came off the bench against Ghana starts in a five man mid field of Tonny Mawejje, Farouk Miya, Brian Majwega, Kizito Luwagga and Baba himself.

University of Pretoria striker, Geofrey Massa starts as a alone striker.

The full line up for the Starting XI is as follows:

Denis Onyango, Isaac Isinde, Godfrey Walusimbi, Savio Kabugo, Andy Mwesigwa (Capt), Geoffrey Kizito, Kizito Luwaga, Tonny Mawejje, GeoffreyMassa,Farouk Miya, and Brian Majwega

Robert Odongkara , Michael Sserumaga, Daniel Sserunkuma, Aucho Khalid, Martin Kiiza, Robert Ssentongo, Habibu Kavuma

Here at home, Ugandans are keeping their faith in the Cranes and praying for nothing less than a win.

Some Member of Parliament including Elijah Okupa, Martin Zilaba Muzaale, Kaps Hassan Fungaroo and Godfrey Kiwanda have all spoken to KFM predicting a win for the national team, calling for prayers from all Ugandans.

The match is set to kick off at 7 pm.

The Cranes are second in Group E with seven points, while Guinea has the same number of points, but with an inferior goal difference.

In-case of a draw Uganda will qualify for the 2015 Afcon on a better goal difference.
