The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Uganda now stands at 63 after two new ones were confirmed by the ministry of health last evening.
According to the Director-General of Health Services Dr Henry Mwebesa, the two cases are a 43-year-old Tanzanian truck driver who is a contact to a previously confirmed case that is under quarantine.
The other is a 35-year old Tanzanian truck driver who arrived from Tanzania at Mutukula border.
The total number of discharged COVID-19 in Uganda is 45 after 7 more were released yesterday, 3 from Mulago Specialized hospital and 4 from Entebbe Grade B hospital.
