The Uganda National Examinations Board has admitted that many mistakes were made in management of the previous year’s exams.
The board’s Deputy Secretary in the Primary Department Chrystotome Kibeti, has expressed regrets for the shortcomings like weak seals on question papers which led to examination malpractices in some districts.
He also admitted shortage of question papers in many examination centers especially in Busia and other rural districts as well as late delivery of papers to some schools.
He however says the board is working hard to ensure that all these are minimized in the forthcoming national exams by improving quality of envelops, security and proper packing of examination papers.
