Yesterday the minister for finance Matia Kasaijja said that the current law only allows submission and withdrawal of money in local currencies which is said to be affecting foreign workers saving with NSSF.

However Hon Charles Bakabulindi one of the workers representative said that this opening this window will attract speculators and ill motivated people to swam this sector.

He said that this sector is for Ugandan, thus any foreigner saving with NSSF will have to convert his benefits to his suitable currency instead of amending this act.
