Reporter | May 2, 2016

Kampala Central Member of Parliament, Mohammed Nsereko has this afternoon officially declared his bid for deputy speaker of the 10th parliament.

Nsereko joins three other independents and five NRM legislators that have expressed interest in the post. Speaking to journalists shortly after declaring his intensions at parliament, Nsereko said his bid is a united front for all political parties.

This, he says will foster the pursuit for balanced service delivery across the country.

Others in the race include Finance State Minister in charge planning David Bahati.

Meanwhile the ruling NRM party is set to announce its candidates for the race of Speaker and Deputy Speaker today.
