The trial of the 13 terror suspects resumed hours after release of a journalist.
High Court Judge Alphosne Owiny Dolo had halted the trial of terror suspects after a journalist was arrested at the court premises this morning.
Derick Kiyonga attached to the Observer Newspaper was picked up earlier today and driven off by security operatives to unknown destination.
It was however not clear why he had been arrested.
The judge then demanded that the Officer in Charge of High Court police produces the journalist before the trial could proceed.
The police complied and upon release of the journalist, an FBI bomb technician told court that Ugandan authorities handed him the items that included cell phones, explosive vests which he then took to a US laboratory for examination.
The case has now been adjourned to September 25th for further hearing.
