The Deputy Speaker of Parliament is under fire over his stance on term limits.

The opposition has now vowed not to allow Jacob Oulanya to chair the house when the issue of term limits is brought up.

The opposition has been pushing for electoral reforms, with one of the demands being reinstatement of the term limits.

Speaking at a recent National Prayer Breakfast, Oulanya described president Museveni as an agent of God, and that the discussion on term limits was possible but unnecessary.

Now the leader of opposition in parliament Wafula Ogutu says they do not want Oulanya to chair the house when the matter comes up for debate, threatening to protest if he did.
