The Otuke NRM Woman parliamentary candidate, Silvia Akello, is nursing injuries at Kumi Orthopedic Centre in Kumi District after was involved in a road accident.
The accident took that occurred at Okum village, Abongorwot parish in Orum Sub-county, left her with a broken leg.
Otuke LC5 vice-chairperson, Hellen Anyait says the driver of the vehicle she was travelling lost control and it knocked a tree before rolling over several times.
According to the doctors, she is expected to undergo an operation tomorrow.
Akello is in the race for Otuke with UPC’s Susan Jolly Abeja Independent Lemegas Bonnie Angol and DP’s Paska Ogwang.
