The Leader of Opposition Winnie Kiiza has challenged government to honour and maintain the legacy of government facilities including schools and hospitals that it took over from former leaders.

Kiiza was this afternoon seconding a motion in Parliament to pay tribute to fallen former works State Minister Andruale Awuzu who passed away early this week from diabetes and acute pneumonia.

The motion was moved by Moses Ali the first Deputy Prime Minister.

The leader of opposition who has described the late Awuzu as a hard working legislator says that the schools that produced quality leaders have all been neglected by the incumbent regime.

Awuzu will on Saturday be laid to rest at his ancestral home in Vurra County in Arua district which he represented in the Sixth and Seventh parliament.
