The Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura has conducted a major reshuffle moving several senior police officers including Andrew Felix Kaweesi who has been the Commandant Kampala Metropolitan and becomes the Commander Operations and is replaced by Haruna Isabirye.

Isabirye will be deputized by Stephen Tanui who has been Regional Police Commander Kampala North.

Grace Turyagumanawe who has been the Commander Operations will now the Peace Support Operations in the East African Reserve Force.

Wesley Nganizi who has been the DPC Old Kampala is now the Regional Police Commander Kampala North

The police deputy spokesperson Polly Namaye confirms the development saying the changes take immediate effect.
