Mobilization for the National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters in Mukono district are in high gear ahead of tomorrow’s meeting.

This is after the party was forced to adjust its program for the Buganda region mobilization meetings, cancelling the first that had been scheduled for Mukono Municipality today.

The police advised the NUP leaders that the venues that had initially been booked were not convenient.

Consequently, the NUP leader, Robert Kyagulanyi, released a revised program indicating that the Mukono rallies shall instead be held tomorrow, another at Masaka Recreation Grounds on Friday May 31st, before the party leaders head to Mityana at Busimbi Division Grounds on Tuesday June 4th.

Now Mukono North Member of Parliament Abdallah Kiwanuka says despite change of venue, they are mobilizing supporters for a maga rally scheduled to take the playground next to MP Nambooze’s residence.

“It is so vital that area because that is the area were more than 10 people were abducted from and shortly thereafter we shall proceed to Walusubi and this I the area were Kanata was born also abducted and up to know it is approaching  four years he has never been seen again,” Mr. Kiwanuka said.
