NRM Secretary General Lumumba Kasulehas picked nomination forms for President Yoweri Museveni.

He joins a long list of over 30 people who have so far picked up presidential nomination forms for the 2016 contest.

They include former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi, Former Kampala Mayor AL hajji Nasser NtegeSsebaggala and former Vice President Gilbert Bukenya.

Others are former Makerere University Vice Chancellor Prof VenansiousBaryamureba and AbediBwanika among others.

38 people have so far picked the forms to contest for the presidency in 2016.

Meanwhile, Electoral Commission boss Eng. Badru Kigundu says says Uganda has enough security and there is no need for the creation of vigilante groups to provide security during election time.

He says they will talk to police to ensure such groups are banned.

He said this while launching the voter education model by Civil Society aimed at educating the public on their electoral rights.
