South Sudan President Salva Kiir says he will sign the compromise peace agreement next week.
This has been confirmed by the presidential press-secretary Mr. Ateny Wek Ateny.

He has told Juba-based Eye Radio that President Kiir is expected to travel to the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on Monday to sign the IGAD proposed peace accord.
This comes a day after consultation meeting with the Council of Ministers, state governors, heads of commissions and other government institutions.
Kiir had earlier refused to ink the deal over what officials describe as contentious issues in the compromise agreement. He asked for more time to consult with citizens.
The contentious issues include power sharing, system of governance, demilitarization of Juba and reintegration of forces during the transitional period.
The SPLM in Opposition and the Former political detainees have already signed the deal which is expected to end the 20-month conflict.
