South Sudan President Salva Kiir has issued an order forming a committee tasked with organizing proper distribution of fuel to filling stations.

The order comes amid fuel crisis in the country.

In Juba, only few gas stations have fuel.

According to the order, the fuel crisis committee, whose members are yet to be publicized, will cancel all fuel approvals for individuals.

It states that the move will stop selling of fuel on the black market.

In a separate order, President Kiir has directed the Minister of Interior, Michael Chiengjiek, to form a security committee composed of; Security, Military Police and Police to fight the fuel menace.

The committee has 72 hours to implement the orders.
