Security beefed up in Kabalore.

UPDF forces have deployed massively in kabalore district following intelligence information indicating that a militia group locally known as Kirumira-Mutima are planning an attack on military installations.

This group has been accused of allegedly initiating creation of Yira republic that seeks to Secession from Uganda.

Now speaking to kfm, Captain Author king Timbganya the spokesperson UPDF second division said that the information they show that this group has been beefing up and planning to attack security installations and civilians, thus they had to act proactively.

He said that so far the areas are stable, but all security forces are on alert.
