Daily Monitor’s Seeds of Gold taken to Hoima

The Daily Monitor seeds of gold series is taking place today Bulindi Zonal Agricultural Research and development institute in Hoima district.

According to the institute’s research director Dr Sylvester Baguma, they are more than ready to equip the farmers with more information and knowledge on how to use modern technologies of farming.

Meanwhile the Bank of Uganda Deputy Director in charge of the Agricultural credit facility JoanitaKamuli, this edition is an opportunity for the central bank to popularize the fund and increase financial inclusion.

The Hoima edition of the seeds of gold is being sponsored by the Bank of Uganda, CNOOC Uganda, NTV and NARO among others.

Framers will be trained in livestock production, piggery farming and modern farming technologies among others.
