Six people have been rushed to Masaka regional hospital with severe injuries after another fire razed houses at Banga landing site, Kalangala district.
According to the Officer in charge of Criminal Investigations Chris Yashaba, the fire is believed to have been started by a jilted lover as a result of domestic violence and claims of adultery.

Yashaba says a woman identified as Juliet Nakawungu is said to have put 21 wooden rental houses on fire after getting information that her husband Ismail Kigongo and one Jedah Nanyonjo were in one of the make-shift structures.
James Nandu the police community liaison officer says property worth Sh 60 million was destroyed and atleast 30 families are left with no shelter.
