Defender Hector Bellerin has signed a new six-year deal with Arsenal to make him one of the club’s top earners.
Bellerin has put pen to paper on a deal worth in the region of £100,000 per week, inclusive of bonuses.
The news comes as a massive boost for Arsenal, who have successfully fought off interest from Barcelona and Manchester City to keep hold of the 21-year-old.
Arsenal are currently looking to settle the futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who are both in talks about extending their contracts.
Ozil is close to agreeing a new five-year deal worth close to £200,000 per week, but agreeing Sanchez’s deal is proving much more complicated.
