Way of the cross 2

The way of the Cross is meant for believers and not people with political motives.

Politicians have been warned against taking advantage of the planned procession for the Way of the Cross.

The police in Kampala have issued guideline to be fallowed on Friday morning.

Speaking to KFM, the Kampala metropolitan spokesperson Ibin Ssenkubi said that they have authorized specific routes to be used by believers to access Nakivubo stadium.

These, he says are to be guarded heavily by the police.

People coming from the northern side are expected to use Wandegeya- Rashid Hamis road to Nakivubo, those from Bakuli will use Namirembe road to Nakivubo.

While those from central will join Nakivubo via parliamentary Avenue through Nasser road.

The police however warn believers not to split these recognized groups because this will disrupt the flow of traffic in Kampala.
