At least one person has died in an accident, in which a trailer has rammed into a boda boda cyclist.
The accident has occurred along Kyaggwe road in Kampala, where the driver of the trailer registration number ZC 2736 reportedly lost control.
The body of the cyclist was smashed beyond recognition.
Traders in the area attacked trailer, attempting to lynch the driver, while others tried to loot the merchandise.
The police was called in and have fired tear gas to disperse the crowd that had turned rowdy.
Police deployment remains heavy in the area.
