Besigye Treason charges hearing adjourned to 30th June

The former FDC presidential candidate Dr Kizza Besigye has this morning appeared before the high court.

However, the state attorney Anne Ntimba has informed Court that investigations into the treason charges against Besigye are ongoing.

The case has been adjourned to 30^th June for further mention and reporting on his bail.

Shortly after the hearing, Besigye told journalists that he is going to consult his lawyers on whether he should continue appearing before court or not.
