Police is investigating the shooting of two women in Zana cell, Bunamwaya, Makindye-Ssabagabo in Waskiso District.

According to the Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson Patrick Onyango the duo who were mobile money operatives were shot dead at their workplace by five armed men on three motorcycles.

Onyango says the bodies of the deceased identified as Harriet Naluwadde a mobile money agent and her employee, 25 year old Maureen Nakabubi have been taken to the city mortuary.

He adds that the armed men took off with an unspecified sums of money.

Onyango meanwhile says they have recovered cartridges from the crime scene and Investigations are underway.
