Two Parliamentary cleaners have been arrested and taken to Luzira prison for breaking one of the offices in parliament and stole there in 12 million shillings.

Moses Muhoozi and Ronald Niwagaba both cleaners in parliament are jointly charged with office assistant also in parliament Francis Kyakuhaire.

The three have been charged with three counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, office breaking and theft of 12 million shillings, which they denied before City Hall Court grade one magistrate Elias Kakooza.

Prosecution states that the trio on 11th August 2015 at the office of one Jacqueline Mpitsi Oidu a clerk assistant they conspired and break her office and stole the money in question.

The magistrate remanded them to Luzira prison until 24th August 2015 to present their bail papers.
