Today Ugandans make that crucial decision on who will lead them for the next five years.

Ugandans are choosing a president, Members of Parliament and District Woman Representatives.

Eight candidates have offered themselves to be elected Uganda’s next president and are expected to cast their ballots in the next few hours.

Independent Presidential candidate and former Premier Amama Mbabazi is expected to vote at Karubeizi church of Uganda polling station, Kinkiizi West in his home district of Kanungu.

FDC’s Dr. Kiiza Besigye will be casting his ballot at Rwakabengo 1, Rukungiri stadium, in Rukungiri district at 10:00 am.

Incumbent Yoweri will vote from Kaaro High School, Nhswere Kiruhura district, at around 10:00 am as well.

Independent candidate Prof. Venansious Baryamureeba, will vote from St. Georges Demonstration Primary School, Kagongo, in Ibanda district. He is expected to cast his ballot at 9:00 am.

Rtd. Major General Benon Biraaro of the Farmers Party of Uganda will be voting at Rumuri Church of Uganda, Masha in Isingiro district at around 11:00 am.

Independent candidate Maureen Kyalya will be voting in Jinja at Kidera LC1 polling station in Kimaka.

Elton John Mabirizi of the Independent Coalition will cast his ballot at 9:00 am at Bunamwaya-Lufuka-Zzana playgrounds in Makindye Division here in Kampala.

Dr. Abed Bwanika of the People’s Development Party will vote in Masaka.
