UNRA ready for errant drivers.

The Uganda National roads authority enforcement team working under the operation Fika Salama has warned all drivers plying Masaka road to avoid reckless driving and contradicting traffic laws during this festive season.

According to the Annual police statistics, road accidents tend to shot up during festive seasons.

Now speaking to kfm, John Bosco Ssejemba the head of enforcement at UNRA said that the team in charge of this operation working with traffics police have been directed to enhance their operations to track all errant drivers.

He however said that compliance levels are greatly rising because currently 30-40 cars are impounded for various offences on daily basis unlike in past when the numbers were alarming.
