Two UPC members have petitioned the High Court in Kampala challenging membership of nine members of Milton Obote Foundation Ltd.

Okello John Livingstone and John Okumu claim the group was illegally appointed at meetings held on October 31st 2014 and March 31st March 2014 and wrongly entered onto the register of Milton Obote Foundation.

The duo wants the names of defendants deleted from Milton Obote foundation’s register and also Court to issue an order restraining the group from participation in the affairs of the Foundation.

The case has been set for hearing on June 16th before Justice Benjamin Kabiito.

The accused include Hamza Sewankambo, Matia Kisembo, John Yumaa, Nelson Ofwono, Mugizi Frankline and Poline Lukwayi.
The group is jointly sued with Milton Obote Foundation Ltd.
