Kitende ejected from Copa tourney

Defending champions St. Mary’s Kitende have been ejected from the ongoing Copa Coca Cola tournament in Gulu.

The Wakiso-based school has been eliminated by Citizen High School by 4 goals to 2 at Quarter final stage.

The loss came as a total surprise to seven time winners who had finished in a goalless draw within regular time.

Kitende last lost 2-1 at quarter finals in 2009 against Toro Progressive in Fort portal and in 2010 they lost to Buddo Secondary School at semifinals in Masaka.
