By Moses Kyeyune:

Kassese Woman MP and Leader of Opposition in Parliament Winnie Kiiza has this morning returned the 29 million age limit facilitation money to parliament.

Rukungiri Municipality MP Roland Kaginda has also returned the money, bringing to 10 the number of MPs who have rejected the money so far.

These join MPs Medard Ssegona, Angeline Osegge, Ssemujju Nganda and Moses Kasibante among others.

The money had been given to them by parliament to facilitate consultation of their constituents over the proposal to lift the presidential age limit, but the MPs claim it is an outright bribe.
