The police insist former head of Amama Mbabazi’s security team Christopher Aine is still a wanted man.

This is after he resurfaced under circumstances as mysterious as those surrounding his alleged disappearance three months ago.

Aine who became a subject of controversy during the election period went missing and had been feared dead, appeared to the press yesterday with president Museveni’s brother General Salim Saleh.

He says he chose to hide in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania because he wanted to stay out of danger that lurked over him just after the Ntungamo clashes.

However, the police spokesperson Fred Enanga they are not aware of his appearance and maintains that he is still wanted for charges relating to the election violence in Ntungamo.

Earlier the police put a 20m bounty on his head, dead or alive and pinned posters of a Wanted Aine all over town.
