Cranes match

Despite bowing out of the CHAN championships in South Africa Football tacticians are optimistic of the cranes future.

A former Cranes Coach Mike Mutebi says the championships have had a positive impact on the young players.

He says the youthful side can ride on the experience from the tournament to prepare for future competitions.

He advises FUFA to keep this team intact to prepare for the African Cup of Nations qualifiers with the final due to take place in Morocco next Year.

The cranes were yesterday eliminated from the CHAN tournament following a 3-1 defeat to Morocco, finishing third in Group B on four points with Morocco and Zimbabwe a point ahead.

Cranes led the group for the first two games with a win against Burkina Faso and a draw against Zimbabwe.
