Former premier Amama Mbabazi has called off his Soroti rally.

This was after police fired teargas to disperse his supporters at Sports grounds Soroti where he was scheduled address them later this afternoon.

He says such a move is unlawful and will be challenged.

Mbabazi launched his consultative meetings in Mbale on Monday before heading to Kapchorwa yesterday.

His next destination is Jinja town where he is expected to address his supporters tomorrow.
