In a bid to legitimise tenancy and pacify land disputes in Buganda region the Buganda land board has launched a six month campaign dubbed ”A land Tittle for every one” aimed at ensuring that all persons on Kabaka’s land get  land tittles.

While flagging off the campaign, the Buganda Kingdom Prime Minister Charles Peter Mayiga noted that the campaign does not just seek to advance the mutual relationship between the Kabaka and his subjects, but is also a way of him paying them back for the tremendous contributions they have made towards the development of Buganda Kingdom.

The Katikkiro adds that this is directive from the Kabaka who is eager to sort out the land disputes among-est his subjects which have mainly resulted from lack of land titles.
