The Chief Justice Bart Katureebe has challenged judicial officers to be exemplary in the fight against corruption in Uganda.

He was this afternoon speaking at the Anti-corruption regional open court day where members of the public interact with judicial officers on various issues.

Speaking specifically ahead of the International Anti-Corruption Day at the Anti-corruption court in Kololo, Justice Katureebe has admitted the corrupt tendencies that have plagued the judiciary.

He however said that there was no longer room to tolerate such rot.

The annual open court day was held under the theme; “Reject and Report Corruption”.
