Christians today mark Holy Saturday, the day between Good Friday and Easter Day.
Holy Saturday is also the last day of Lent.
Most Churches however do not have any services on Easter Eve, until the Midnight service to start the celebrations of Easter Day.
Christians are therefore encouraged to attend the night church service to usher in the big day.
According to Father Ntege Lubwama Kalooli of Nsambya Parish, all the last days of lent are significant and must be observed.
Meanwhile, Pope Francis has asked Christians not take the Cross of Christ as one for defeat, but rather love and mercy.
The Pope says that Christians should be ready to serve others just like Jesus did to extent of sacrificing his life for mankind.
