A tentative program for the burial of the former Uganda Cranes goal keeping coach Fred Kajoba has been released by sports officials indicating that the body will arrive tomorrow for a requiem service at the deceased’s home in Entebbe Municipality, Wakiso District.

The casket will then be taken to a funeral home ahead of a mass at Rubaga Cathedral on Thursday.

The body will then be taken for a night vigil at FUFA House in Mengo from where it will be taken to his parents’ home in Kasubi.

On Saturday the casket will be taken to Kiwawu along Mityana road for another vigil ahead of burial on Sunday.

The former Vipers and Bright Stars head coach succumbed to yet an unknown illness yesterday from a hospital in Tanzania.

He is said to have checked into hospital accompanied by fellow Ugandan coach, Matia Lule

Kajoba leaves a legacy as the man that groomed former Uganda Cranes and Mamelodi Sundown’s goalkeeper, Denis Masinde Onyango.

He was also the goalkeeping Coach when Uganda Cranes ended the 38- year wait without participating in the Africa Cup of Nations finals.

He later joined longtime friend Moses Basena at Tanzania’s Ihefu SC, where he served as the goalkeeping and assistant coach.
