High Court judge Lydia Mugambe sets July 13th to pass a judgment on a parliamentary petition challenging the victory NRM’s Nathan Igeme Nabeete as MP Jinja Municipality East Constituency.

The petition was filed by DP’s Paul Mwiru Contesting the results of 18th February 2016 general elections that declared Nabeete winner for the constituency.

Mwiru says there was a lot of confusion in Danida A-D Community polling station during and after the polling.

He adds that on this same polling station the results on the original DR form were different from those results counted on the above polling station.

He also accuses Electoral Commission for failure to comply with electoral laws.
