The move by Kapelabyong country MP to withdraw building materials from a school after losing in the recent NRM primaries has drawn mixed reaction from members of the civil society.
Peter Eriaku had among other things contributed 65 bags of cement and 70 iron sheets to the parents and administrators of Angaro Community Primary School, Obalanga subcounty in Amuria district.
The Anti-Corruption Coalition of Uganda executive director Cissy Kagaba has attacked him saying this is a typical example of commercialization of politics in Uganda.
But Henry Muguzi the National Coordinator, Alliance for Campaign Finance Monitoring blames it on the electorate as well.
